Join the Tea Community

Our customers and tea friends often gather on The Tea Table, a tea community on Discord originally created by tea enthusiast Liquid Proust in 2020.

Inside the server, members discuss tea, share tasting notes, and help each other learn more about Chinese tea.

Some of our customers have also started a small OrientaLeaf corner there to chat about the teas they’re drinking. If you'd like to meet other tea drinkers and join the conversation, you're warmly welcome to join.

A masterfully crafted Golden Tippy Ripe Puerh from Menghai—silky, mellow, and imbued with sweet earthy richness, perfect for gifting or cellaring.

Hand-pressed from tender one-bud-two-leaf spring shoots, this golden-tipped Puerh reveals velvety smoothness, rich sweet-earthy depth, and the auspicious warmth of a gift that endures.

In the misty highlands of Menghai, spring brings forth one-bud-two-leaf shoots—the “golden grade” raw material prized in Puerh making. This pick sits perfectly between the ultra-tender one-bud-one-leaf (reserved for boutique teas) and the more fibrous one-bud-three-leaf grades.

The single bud, rich in amino acids and tea polyphenols, lays the foundation for a lively sweetness and refreshing aftertaste, while the two tender leaves contribute pectin, cellulose, and aromatic compounds that deepen the brew’s body and coax out layers of jujube-like fruitiness, gentle woody notes, and aged sweetness during fermentation.

This harmonious balance of tenderness and substance makes one-bud-two-leaf the preferred choice for crafting quality Ripe Puerh cakes—ensuring both refined flavor and consistent production.

When infused, the liquor glows a deep garnet-amber, releasing aromas reminiscent of warm cocoa, roasted chestnuts, and polished antique wood. On the palate, the tea is silky and mellow, with a lingering honeyed sweetness and mineral smoothness that keeps the mouth refreshed.

Its name, “Golden Treasure 金玉满堂”, reflects both its gold-tipped buds and its symbolism of abundance and good fortune—making it a thoughtful gift for loved ones or an heirloom addition to any Puerh collection.
