A velvety smooth Gushu Ripe Pu-erh honoring Fengqing’s tea pioneer—rich red liquor, chocolatey sweetness, and history in every sip.

Crafted from century-old Fengshan trees and naturally aged for three years, this commemorative Ripe Pu-erh offers silky chocolate sweetness and the soul of Yunnan’s tea heritage.

Qilin Hao Fengshan Gushu Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake – 2021 is more than a tea; it’s a tribute to Qilin (琦璘, 1874–1911)—known as the “Tea God of Fengqing”. Over a century ago, Qilin introduced superior large-leaf cultivars to Fengshan, transforming it into one of Yunnan’s most renowned tea regions. This cake celebrates his vision by preserving the authentic character of Fengshan’s ancient tree tea.

Crafted from spring-picked sun-dried Maocha from Fengshan’s old tea trees, this tea was traditionally fermented, then naturally rested for three years before pressing in 2021. The cake shows dark glossy leaves tightly woven into a round, elegant form, a hallmark of fine Shu Pu-erh craftsmanship.

Brewed in a warm Gaiwan, the liquor unfolds in deep ruby-red clarity, carrying aromas of aged cedar, sweet earth, and warm cocoa nibs. On the palate, it delivers layers of dark chocolate, roasted chestnut, and hints of dried jujube, with a silky, almost syrupy texture and a clean, lingering sweetness. This tea is both a daily comfort and a collector’s gem for those who cherish authentic Fengqing Ripe Pu-erh.
