What makes GenShe Fu Brick Tea truly exceptional lies in three defining principles.
First, it is made by a master. Jia Genshe is one of the official inheritors of the traditional Jingyang Fu Tea making technique, a designation granted by the Chinese government to protect historically significant crafts. For Fu Zhuan tea, this represents the highest level of recognition for a tea maker.
Second, every tea in this collection is genuinely aged vintage Fu Brick Tea. Each brick completes a full production and maturation cycle of at least four years before release, allowing the tea to develop the deep, mellow character and smooth texture that define well-aged Fu Zhuan tea.
Third, GenShe remains firmly committed to traditional production methods. The teas are made using carefully selected Anhua dark tea (Hei Mao Cha) and follow the historical Fu tea process—including the traditional step of slowly boiling tea oil, a technique now rarely preserved by modern factories. In fact, GenShe is one of the very few producers still faithfully practicing this method today.
