Shou Mei, a tea from Fujian Province, China, is crafted from young leaves. These are left to wither and undergo a slight oxidation before being dried. The outcome is delicate, featuring a sweet, floral flavor and a refreshing, slightly astringent finish.

Among the types are White Peony and Yin Zhen Silver Needle. The tea plants produce various high-quality ones.

Our 2016 Fuding Shou Mei Biscuit Tea is an ideal means to relish the subtle flavors of this classic. It is made from meticulously picked and processed top-quality leaves to guarantee the highest quality. The tea presents a light, golden hue and a delicate aroma of flowers and honey. The flavor is sweet and floral, accompanied by a slight astringency that balances the sweetness.

Loose-leaf tea has charm, and this biscuit tea offers a convenient alternative.

Shou Mei is renowned for its capacity to age gracefully. As it ages, it develops a richer and more complex flavor. The leaves become more mellow and smooth, with a more profound sweetness and floral aroma.
