Daily Ration Tea

Our Value Tea Sets offer an accessible entry into the world of quality Chinese teas. These collections feature full leaf teas from various regions of China, each carefully selected for its authentic flavor and ability to withstand multiple infusions.
We've curated these sets to provide a range of tastes and experiences, from the gentle sweetness of white teas to the rich complexity of oolongs. Each tea in these sets costs less than $1 per brewing session and can be steeped multiple times, making them an economical choice for daily enjoyment.
These teas are processed naturally, without additives or artificial flavorings. You'll find subtle variations in taste from season to season, reflecting the tea's natural growth cycle and harvesting conditions.
Whether you're new to Chinese teas or looking for reliable daily drinkers, these sets offer a great starting point. They're particularly suited for those who appreciate pure, unadulterated flavors and want to explore different tea types without breaking the bank.
For best results, use water just off the boil for most teas (slightly cooler for green teas), and adjust steeping times to your preference. Start with about 3-5 grams of leaves per cup and experiment to find your perfect brew.
We personally taste and select every tea in our shop, including these value sets. Our goal is to offer teas that we enjoy drinking ourselves – nothing pretentious, just honest, good quality leaves that deliver satisfying flavors cup after cup.
