This is a thin-bodied blue and white porcelain Gaiwan produced in Jingdezhen.

The cup body is painted with traditional Baoxiang Chinese ceramic decoration patterns. It originated in the Song Dynasty and was artistically processed from the flower heads of natural flowers (mainly lotus flowers), appearing rich and precious. The Baoxiang flower implies auspiciousness and happiness and symbolizes wealth and good fortune. 

The diameter of the opening is 10 cm, and the capacity is 150 ml.
