Join the Tea Community

Our customers and tea friends often gather on The Tea Table, a tea community on Discord originally created by tea enthusiast Liquid Proust in 2020.

Inside the server, members discuss tea, share tasting notes, and help each other learn more about Chinese tea.

Some of our customers have also started a small OrientaLeaf corner there to chat about the teas they’re drinking. If you'd like to meet other tea drinkers and join the conversation, you're warmly welcome to join.

A Rich and Authentic Wuyi Shui Xian Oolong, Full of Rock Aroma

This Shui Xian Oolong comes from the heart of Wuyi Mountain, one of the most respected tea regions in China. Grown and crafted by the Ruolan Tea Factory in Nanping, Fujian, this tea is the result of over 50 years of expertise passed down through three generations.

Shui Xian, one of the "Four Famous Bushes" of Wuyi rock tea, is known for its smooth texture, floral notes, and rich mineral taste. This particular batch was chosen after two years of careful testing and comparison. It stood out not only for its clean aroma and depth of flavor but also for its strong "Yan Yun", or the signature rock charm unique to teas grown in Wuyi’s rocky soil.

Dry Leaves: Tight, dark, and glossy, with high uniformity and minimal breakage.
Aroma: A deep mix of floral, creamy, woody, and fruity notes, with a hint of caramel from light roasting.
Taste: Smooth and layered. The tea liquor is thick and round, with a strong returning sweetness and lasting mouthfeel. The mineral character is noticeable and lingers in the throat.
Leaf Base: Thick and resilient with clear veins, showing careful processing and healthy leaf material.

Whether you're new to Wuyi teas or looking for a classic Shui Xian with strong character, this tea offers a balanced and satisfying experience
