Tea prepared for tasting at Orientaleaf

A shared curiosity

A few good teas. Your own point of view.

A collection to discover.

The Orientaleaf Tasting Collection: a thoughtfully selected assortment of Chinese teas, with dark tea at its heart. Several teas to explore, without having to choose each one.

Room to be yourself.

A blog post, tasting notes with photographs, or a video. Use your own format and your own words. We welcome honest opinions, including what you did not enjoy.

Credit for your work.

Selected reviews may be linked or featured on the relevant tea’s page, with your name and a link to your original work.

Who we hope to meet

People who take
the cup seriously.

We usually work with creators who have around 500 or more followers on a public channel. Independent bloggers are welcome based on the quality and relevance of their writing, rather than a follower count.

  • Original tea content and a real interest in tasting, learning and sharing.
  • A public blog, social channel, video channel or podcast where you share original content.
  • A smaller audience is welcome when your content shows care and thoughtful conversation.

Keep it simple

From an introduction to a shared cup.

01 · Introduce yourself

Share your channel and a little about your audience. Add any tea preferences if you wish.

02 · Receive your tasting collection

If we are a good fit, we will email you to arrange delivery of our selected tasting collection. We take care of the tea selection.

03 · Brew and share

Take time to taste, create in your own style and clearly disclose that the tea was gifted by Orientaleaf.

04 · Send us the link

Email your published review. We may feature it with credit, and keep the conversation going.

No need to choose individual teas. We normally send our selected tasting collection; you can note anything you especially enjoy or prefer to avoid in the application. We confirm shipping arrangements before sending and request your postal address only after accepting your application.

Already at the tea table

Read a few independent perspectives.

These existing reviews offer a taste of the conversations we value.

Beyond the first tasting

Let’s keep brewing.

A sample tasting can be the beginning of a longer conversation. If we are a good fit, we are open to ongoing tea reviews, educational content and other collaborations.

Have an idea? Tell us in your application. We will discuss the scope and arrangements together.

A few practical questions

Before you apply.

Do I need to have bought from Orientaleaf?

No. We welcome both existing customers and people discovering our teas for the first time.

Do I have to make a video or write a positive review?

No to both. Written reviews and original photographs are very welcome. Share what you really taste, including any reservations, and disclose that the tea was provided free of charge.

What will I receive?

We normally send the Orientaleaf Tasting Collection: several teas selected by us, with enough of each for several gongfu sessions. Dark tea is at the heart of the collection, while other tea types may also be included. The teas and quantities vary by selection and availability.

Do I need to choose individual teas?

No. We take care of the selection. If there is anything you especially enjoy or prefer to avoid, tell us in the optional preferences field. We will take it into account where possible.

What if my audience is smaller than 500?

You can still apply. For independent blogs and smaller channels, we consider original content, relevant readers and thoughtful engagement.

Do you require a backlink or discount-code promotion?

No specific link type or discount-code promotion is required. If you include a link, follow the disclosure and link policies that apply to your platform.

How will my review be used?

With your permission below, we may link to your review or feature a short credited excerpt or an embedded public video on orientaleaf.com. You keep ownership of your work. We will ask separately before using your photos or full content elsewhere.

Does every application receive samples?

No. We are a small shop and choose a limited number of collaborations based on content, fit, availability and shipping feasibility. If selected, we will contact you by email to agree on the details.
