Pressed in 2013 from ancient tree leaves harvested in the Lincang tea region of Yunnan, this tea brick comes from Chunming Tea's Ancient Tea Forest (古茶林) series. The factory owns over 1,500 mu of tea gardens in the area, home to more than 10,000 ancient tea trees over a century old — the source of this brick's dense, generous material.
Since leaving the factory, the brick has been resting in our Xi'an dry storage, where more than a decade of slow, natural aging has transformed it into something remarkably clean and refined. The liquor pours clear and dark red, gliding across the palate with a sweet, silky, oil-smooth body. Its signature note is a gentle walnut oil aroma — clean, warm, and unmistakable, with no damp or off-notes, the mark of properly dry-aged ripe pu-erh.
