Autumn White Tea

Our autumn white teas offer a unique experience compared to their spring and summer counterparts. Harvested in the crisp fall air of Fujian's misty mountains, these teas develop larger leaves and a richer concentration of compounds, resulting in a more full-bodied cup with deeper flavors.
The cooler temperatures and shorter days of autumn allow the tea plants to grow more slowly, concentrating their essence. This natural process gives these white teas a mellow sweetness, subtle complexity, and a smooth finish that lingers on the palate. Many tea enthusiasts particularly value autumn white teas for their excellent aging potential, as the higher content of natural compounds allows them to develop fascinating nuances over time.
We've carefully selected these teas for their balance of flavor and value. While spring white teas often command premium prices, autumn harvests offer comparable quality at a more accessible price point, making them perfect for daily enjoyment or as an introduction to the world of fine white teas.
These teas shine when brewed gently. We recommend using water at about 175°F (80°C) and steeping for 2-3 minutes. The leaves can be infused multiple times, revealing new layers of flavor with each steep.
Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or new to white teas, our autumn selection offers something special. We drink these teas ourselves and have chosen each one based on its ability to deliver a satisfying, nuanced cup. No flashy marketing, just honest, well-crafted teas that speak for themselves.
