清明前に摘まれた緑茶は最高品質とされ、非常に限られた収量のため最高値がつきます。比較すると、穀雨前に収穫された緑茶は清明茶よりも芽がわずかに少なく、葉も清明茶より大きいため、品質はやや劣りますが、それでも夏の緑茶よりはるかに優れています。
