How to Choose Fu Brick Tea
How to Choose Fu Brick Tea
Fu brick tea (Fuzhuan) is a fermented dark tea known for the golden growth called jinhua. The flowering stage is part of its manufacture. Visible golden flowers are one observation to make, not a stand-alone measure of flavor, quality or food safety.
Start with the cup you want
Look for the producer’s description of aroma, sweetness and body. Compare a small quantity first where the product offers one; flower density alone does not tell you how a tea will drink.
Compare the actual ranges
On Taoism, YXT and Jia Genshe offer different selections in this shop. Check each product’s base material, manufacture date and format rather than assuming one philosophy describes every brick from a producer.
Read production and storage separately
A year printed on a brick does not establish where it was stored or guarantee a medicinal, date-like or sweet flavor. Choose an older tea because its current tasting description appeals.
Choose a manageable first quantity
Check the currently available package sizes. A sample or discovery set can be a practical way to compare producers without committing to a large brick.
