Ce Da Hong Pao provient de la région de Zhengyan, au cœur des monts Wuyi, berceau du thé oolong de roche authentique. Il présente le style distinctif « Shi Ru » (石乳), un type de saveur traditionnel connu pour son arôme lacté doux, ses notes florales subtiles et sa profonde complexité minérale.

« Shi Ru » signifie approximativement « lait de pierre », un terme poétique utilisé dans le thé Wuyi pour décrire les thés au parfum naturellement crémeux et à la texture onctueuse et ronde. Il ne s'agit pas d'un produit laitier, mais plutôt d'une sensation de douceur et de plénitude, fruit d'un terroir de qualité, de vieux arbres et d'une torréfaction experte.

Ce thé provient de la fabrique de thé Ruolan à Nanping, dans le Fujian. La famille produit du thé oolong Wuyi depuis plus de 50 ans, avec trois générations impliquées dans le processus. Leur expérience se reflète dans son arôme pur, sa liqueur claire et son excellente résistance aux multiples infusions.

La saveur se dévoile progressivement : une douceur en bouche, subtilement florale et sucrée, suivie d'une trame minérale profonde et complexe. Aucune amertume, juste une douce force persistante en bouche, signature du véritable thé de roche Zhengyan. Ce thé laisse en bouche une sensation soyeuse et légèrement sucrée, à la fois réconfortante et intrigante.
